"As a self-defense instructor with over a decade of experience, I thought I knew everything there was to know about tactical training. But my time with Tobias proved me wrong. The integration of firearms proficiency with situational awareness and decision-making opened my eyes to an entirely new dimension of tactical preparedness."
After 12 years of military experience in several units, specialized as a sniper and medic and later as a firearms and tactics instructor, I went voluntarily to Syria to fight against ISIS for 7 months. What I learned there was eye opening: The reality is VERY different from what is usually taught in the military and shooting classes!

What is usually missing in tactical firearm trainings?

And how I help you solve it

Real-World Scenario Training for Real-World Challenges

In today's unpredictable world, traditional firearms training can fall short. Static drills and controlled environments are a starting point, but they often fail to capture the complexity, stress, and unpredictability of real-world situations.

Tailored Firearms Training for Every Skill Level

In the field of firearms training, one size does not fit all. Varied skill levels can create gaps and inconsistencies that hinder growth and readiness, whether within a law enforcement agency, a private security firm, a military unit, or a group of recreational shooters.

Train with a Battle-Proven EverydayOperator Instructor

In the realm of firearms training, theory and simulation can only go so far. What sets a training program apart is the hands-on guidance of an instructor who has faced the real pressures of combat. Many programs promise excellence but lack the authenticity that comes with real battlefield experience.

Beyond the Bullet: Integrated Training for Tactical Mastery

In the world of firearms, pulling the trigger is just one part of the equation. Success in complex situations requires a deep understanding of tactics, decision-making, and situational awareness. Many training programs focus on shooting proficiency alone, leaving participants unprepared for real-world challenges where every decision matters.

WAYS WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

No two Students are alike. Some are sports shooters, some are government agents, police, special forces. So, what you chose to focus on is entirely up to you! Here are just a few things, I can help you with:
  • Fundamentals: A point that is very often overlooked. Without the right platform (stance, hips, shoulders etc.) there can be no consistent and reliable shooting. Usually we start here and I have a few tricks in my sleeve to get you up to peak performance in no time.
  • Target Recognition: The more complex the situation, the more likely it is to shoot someone innocent. Target recognition can be learned and it is one of the things almost no firearm instructor teaches.
  • Situational Awareness: Close to Target Recognition but here we learn to develop our "spider-senses" and spot danger before it happens and in the best case avoid it.
  • Protection: If you want to protect yourself or your loved ones, this is an important point. How do you yeact in an armed robbery when you are armed yourself but your wife and kids are in the car WITH you? You can't just shoot without a plan. You need a strategy and the right mindset.
  • Special Situations: You might find yourself constantly in the same situation. It might be when you walk from court home at night to your car and you have the feeling someone is following you. Exactly those scenario drills will help you to develop the right reactions.

The 3 Pillars of my Training

Reality: What I have been taught and what I have seen working on the battlefield are 2 very different things. Normal firearms training doesn't take into account that we are full of adrenaline, full of fear and our motor skills are reduced to the minimum training we had. This is why it is so important to incorporate realism into our training so you can react the way that can save your life and the life of your loved ones!

Efficiency: When we watch movies or a lot of instructors, they try to do a lot of movements that are unnecessary. We try to cut down as much time and movement as possible until we are at the absolute fundamental. No movement is wasted, every step is where it needs to be. THEN we have mastered the art of tactical shooting. That counts for being alone or in a CQB stack.

Consistency: Oftentimes what people do, is they vary their approach to problems (failure o a gun, a tactical situation, even how to hold the gun). We strive to be consistent, that means always the same. This has to do with neuropsychology and the fact that our brain can not calculate too many things at once - especially under stress!

    ABOUT EverydayOperator

I started early in my career. When I was 17, I joined the military - a few months before my 18th birthday. After basic training I went to specialized training and then to the gruel some Special Forces Selection Course. After 8 weeks I started my training as a Reconnaissance Soldier with speciality of being a sniper and a medic. Later on my unit got dissolved and I changed into another Special Forces Group as an instructor and team leader. But I always felt something was missing. The army gave me great freedom and I was able to visit trainings around the world. Slowly the puzzle pieces came together. Countries who were constantly in war AND (which is rarely the case), willing to learn and improve, had integrated psychology and neuropsychology into their training. But before I could go deeper into the subject my 12 years service were over.

In 2017 I went voluntarily alone to Syria to fight against ISIS. You can see 2 of the documentaries in which I appear on the side. After 7 months I knew how DIFFERENT real life combat was from what we had learned and I started a journal to learn from my experiences. The 3 pillars were born and since that day I teach exactly that with great success. My students come from all walks of life an are happy about their training and how fast they often can progress in one training session.

Things to keep in mind before booking A tier 1 Training with me

Due to the new gun laws and the decreet of the new government, I can only work with clients who already either have their CR and a Gun (with CRAF and Guia de Transito) or a Gun registered in the SINARM System (Policia Federal) with CRAF and Guia de Transito for the day(s) of training.
I hope that this will change soon and we can work together even if you don't own your own gun yet.
